Around the World In 80 Steps

A tour through this beautiful home, and you’ll experience the blending of old world meets new. The highlight of the kitchen is the showpiece La Cornue range with the massive masonry range hood surround. Tuscan style alder cabinets are unified with the egg and dart moldings. The custom pyramid panel doors, and their hand-carved valances make this space feel substantial and elegant. The kitchen island contains a large stone sink and two integrated dishwashers which created a design challenge for where to place the silverware. The solution was using furniture legs and giving them real-life functionality and storage.

GUEST BATHROOM:

The next stop of our journey is an Eastern-inspired master bath. Made from Lyptus (a strain of mahogany) wood, the cabinetry was built to mimic furniture. The homeowner supplied the hardware for the linen cabinet which served as the inspiration of this regal bathroom.

BAR:

This radius bar feels like a piece of art pulled from an old Spanish hotel. Intricately hand carved mahogany, this bar is muy hermoso.
