Baths, Other Rooms, Kitchens

This ‘Best in Show’ and ‘Best Kitchen’ Parade of Homes winner was a dream to create, and the results are even more dreamy than we imagined. A successful collaboration with EDI architecture, this kitchen reflects how the homeowners envisioned using this space and elevated it a few notches! The focal point in this space is the incredible attention to detail in the grain matched walnut veneers. We played with the direction of the grain using a vertical span for the banks of wall cabinets, but then a horizontal grain for the islands and display cabinets. Handleless doors make for a smooth and uninterrupted space and lets the wood grain be the star of the show.

The cantilevered floating island was designated the ‘clean up island’ with all the necessary tools to make cleaning up a breeze. The opposite side of this island has bypass doors that reveal a TV, strategically placed by the breakfast table.

The workhorse of the kitchen is an island that houses a trough sink, cooktop, ample storage, easy oven access, and the integrated refrigerator. The ovens are not only a necessity in the kitchen but cased in quartz, these ovens are an art piece.

The master closet was designed to look like furniture. Walnut wood was used throughout and this elegant and sophisticated space.
