The “Wright” Stuff

We think Frank Lloyd Wright would love this take on a modern craftsman home. The warm and light kitchen exudes simplicity and high style. The focal point is the main kitchen island which incorporates several stunning design elements including the 14” long live edge walnut slab from Northern California. The waterfall edges of the island on the opposite ends of the island not only provide a warm contrast, but are also designed to withstand wear and tear from bar seating. The homeowners wanted to incorporate their love of cherry wood and it’s grain, but sought to tone down the red hues with this custom stain. The result is a modern industrial shaker design that is warm, and timeless.

The wrap-around plant ledge is a classic nod to Frank Lloyd Wright and provides concealed rope light that draws the eye up to the coffered ceiling inset with leather panels. The result is a warm and inviting craftsman kitchen, dining, and living area.

MASTER BATH:

Warm wood tones highlight the beauty of this home throughout, and the master bath is no exception. The cabinets were built to create a sleek spa look by using a flat grain-match door with clean lines. All the design elements converge into an enviable sanctuary spa space.

LIBRARY:

Floor to ceiling adjustable bookcases wrap around this magnificent home library. This space begs to be enjoyed with the company of a good book, and a glass of wine.

LAUNDRY ROOM:

A laundry room is often the unsung hero of a house. Lots of function, but not a lot of style…unless it’s in this house. This space provides oodles of storage, individual hamper space and a hanging dry rack for this family to keep looking fresh, pressed and polished.
